Diligence
We run our standard LP-style analysis on your fund: data room, track record, and benchmarking.
Kauffman Fellows · Cohort session
Inference Capital is an AI-native investment firm for private markets — we assess venture funds for the institutional investors who back them. For this Kauffman Fellows cohort, we run that diligence on a few fellows’ funds and walk you through it: a readout and feedback session, coaching on your narrative and track record, and an LP role-play across family office, institutional, and corporate fund-of-funds perspectives — so you see your fund as an allocator would.
Taking part is opt-in. You decide what, if anything, is shared with the cohort.
01 Who is Inference Capital?
We work for institutional LPs, assessing and monitoring the venture funds they back. That means reading fund narratives, track records, and data rooms the way an allocator does, and forming a view.
For this cohort, we turn that lens on a few fellows' own funds. Because we do this for LPs day in and day out, the read you get is the same one an institutional LP would form of your fund. We run our standard analysis, then meet each manager to talk through what we found.
Taking part is opt-in: you decide what, if anything, is shared with the cohort. A few fellows will be chosen as case studies.
02 The session
We run the diligence, walk you through it, then weigh your fund as different LPs would.
We run our standard LP-style analysis on your fund: data room, track record, and benchmarking.
We walk you through what we found and talk it over, so you can add context the documents do not show.
The group weighs your fund as a family office, an institutional fund-of-funds, and a corporate fund-of-funds each would, alongside experienced LPs and GPs, including people from Sapphire, UBS, and Speedinvest.
03 Cohort logistics
The Kauffman Fellows team handles fellow intake, scheduling, and what materials are shared. Inference Capital reviews selected fund materials in advance and uses only what each fellow chooses to provide.
